1. What is the Event Exchange?

Event Exchange is a fast-paced, high-value networking session taking place at Eventing the Future 2025. It connects buyers, suppliers, and event professionals through a series of pre-scheduled, one-on-one meetings, helping you cut through the noise and meet the right people.

2. How do I participate?

To take part, you must: Purchase a ticket to Eventing the Future 2025, and purchase the add-on ticket for the Event Exchange by 1 August 2025. Once you're signed up, you’ll receive access to our custom networking app to start booking meetings.

3. What does it cost?

Event Exchange tickets are $150 + GST , in addition to your Eventing the Future conference ticket. You can register individually to maximise your own networking time, or as a company team (1-3 people). If you choose to register as a company, only one person needs to add the Event Exchange ticket to their order through Humanitix.

4. How does the networking app work?

The custom app allows you to browse other participants and select up to 10 people you would be interested in meeting. The conference team will then matchmake each booking, and supply you with a personalised agenda through the app.

5. What happens during the session?

Each meeting lasts 10–15 minutes. A bell will signal when it’s time to move to your next meeting. Dedicated event hosts will help keep things flowing and support smooth introductions.

This session is designed for Event organisers sourcing new suppliers and partners, Suppliers and venues seeking qualified buyers, and anyone in the events industry ready to form valuable, long-term connections

8. What are the key benefits?

9. How many meetings can I expect?

Most attendees will have around 7 scheduled meetings, depending on demand and mutual matches through the app.

10. What if I don’t know who I want to meet?

The app helps you filter attendees by company name. We can also match you based on your profile. On the day, our hosts will be there to help facilitate smart, relevant connections.
